payment terms:
a payment will be made in the form of a mt103 (t. transfer) payment order confirmed by 50 top world banks for the sum of us$.. / paid out irrevocable, transferable, assignable, divisible
the mt103 payment order shall be negotiable and payable 100% at change of shipping documents and b.l at the counter of buyer name
procedures:
1. buyer issues loi and sends to seller. (this document)
2. the seller issues draft spa (sales and purchase agreement) to the
buyer for consideration of changes/modifications if necessary.
3. within 48 hours buyer signs, seals and returns the spa/contract
with changes/modifications if necessary, in red, and sends it back to the
seller for consideration. seller reviews the contract, signs and seals it
and return to buyer.
4. seller and buyer exchange signed contract by electronic media in
pdf as hard copies.
5. seller issue proforma invoice, that includes the imo for the vessel, and copy of bl with sgs copy along with invoice
to buyer and buyer return the invoice with signed and stamped same day.
6. within 2 banking days, buyer's bank issues either conditional mt 103
or fully funded cash backed mt103. verbiage of financial instrument for
payment must be; no more than three days old, issued and confirmed from
top 50 bank, us/eu.
7. after bank to bank documents confirmation via swift, seller bank
sends proof of product (including bill of lading bank to bank) and
shipping documents to buyer's bank within 1 (one) banking day and vessel
sails to buyer destination port.
8. upon arrival of vessel at destination sea port a second sgs shall be
conducted for q&q.
9. payment to be made on the same day by the buyer's bank against all
documents including the sgs certificate of the port of destination and the
renunciation of ownership of the sugar in favor of the buyer.
