in the douro valleys, listed as a world heritage site by unesco since 2001, the sandy and acidic soils give rise to high quality blueberries.
the valley in the form of a grandiose amphitheater (step to step), gives good solar exposure, half shaded.
the douro river, which runs through the plantations in the hollow of valleys, gives it the necessary humidity.
our blueberries come from certified organic farming.
they are cultivated according to the european organic standards in force, and certified by certis, one of the specialized control and certification bodies for organic products in portugal.
we also have global gap certification.
we do not use any treatment or pesticides, chemical fertilizers, gmos, or growth hormones on our plants.
