was built in 2023 for the purpose of breeding and raising snails of the species helix aspersa maxima or big gray snail.
the peculiarities of the climate on the territory of bulgaria allow the successful cultivation of precisely this type of snails. located in the foothills of stara planina, the farm has a total area of 7,000 square meters, with a tendency to expand. we have taken into account the geographical position, the climatic conditions and the altitude, and have settled on a leading french technology for raising our snails, namely the mixed farming method.
helix aspersa maxima or big gray snail is a favorite delicacy of the leading european restaurants.
in april 2023 we started the fattening of snails of the species helix aspersa maxima in the outdoor parks on an area of 2100 square meters . our goal is to modernize the farm with each passing season in order to increase the quantity without compromising the quality of the production and to build a closed cycle of cultivation.
the daily maintenance of cleanliness and hygiene in the parks, our own crystal clear water source, as well as the high quality of the fodder we use guarantee the quality of our production.
we know how dynamic the european market is and what our customers' requirements are. despite all the difficulties, we have convinced ourselves that the quality product is imposed on the market and we cannot compromise on this.
