gilaz snails are producing meat from giant african land snails in mozambique. we are in our third year of production in the inhambane province.
all snails are cleaned, vacuum packed and frozen in packets of 12 snails each.

gilaz snails has got their own breeding program on 3 different places, but also support the local communities for supply of snails.
we hope to become a recognized supplier of snails and snail products and to also support our mozambican subsistence farmers to become semi commercial farmers with a sustainable income.
