we are an import export company based in china owned by foreigners (particularly french) and we have operational teams in the drc (lubumbashi), zambia (ndola) and tanzania (dar es salaam).
we are looking for copper concentrate with a minimum content of 30% and origin from the democratic republic of congo.
the supplier must be able to export the copper concentrate out of the drc and present compliant documents (no illegal import into zambia then modification of the documents to claim the merchandise is from zambia, this is illegal and will be refused) and we offer 2 working options:
option 1: the supplier delivers the goods to dar es salaam in a bonded warehouse (cfs) mutually agreed with us (aficd, overland, zamcargo). we appoint ccic for the inspection then we pay 100% by bank transfer against test report and export documents. our staff will be on site to supervise the operation with the seller.
option 2: the supplier delivers the goods to aficd in ndola, zambia, after having coordinated the export from the drc and import into zambia properly with our customs agent in zambia (complete declarations in asycuda and asycudaworld to allow swift transit under "git" customs status at the aficd bonded warehouse in ndola). once the goods are received at aficd, we carry out an assay to confirm the quality (alex stuart in kitwe) and we then take care of the transport of the goods to dar es salaam, where we will follow the procedure indicated in the option ( 1) above (delivery to a cfs, quality control by ccic and payment after test report and delivery of exported documents and deduction of transport costs in this case).
any proposal for collaboration sent to us must be accompanied by:
1. the seller's details (which may be different from the exporter, no problem) for due diligence by our compliance team.
2. copy of a previous test report from a past transaction to confirm initial quality.
3. identification of contacts and their position (agent / intermediary / seller / exporter). we respect agents and brokers, and we protect their interests, but we do not accept that an intermediary without real power to negotiator with us. we do not accept time wasters.
please note:
1. we accept and protect intermediaries and brokers/agents, but discussions are only between the final seller and our management. otherwise, we waste time and communication errors are frequent. we always waste too much time because of this. a non competition and non disclosure agreement (ncnda) to sign will be offered to all intermediaries who contact us.
2. we know the region and the procedures for this type of goods perfectly. we do not accept any changes to our procedure to avoid fraud and guarantee the safe importation of the goods into china.
3. we always start with an initial order of 200 to 500 tons for trial and then plan monthly 1,000 to 2,000 tons per month as a first reasonable objective. if you are able to deliver these quantities continuously, we will be able to increase monthly volumes.
