seller issues sco outlining the offer terms.
icpo submission:
buyer issues icpo with full banking details and company profile.
spa & invoice:
seller issues draft sales and purchase agreement (spa) and invoice.
buyer reviews, signs, and returns the contract.
financial instrument issuance:
buyer issues one of the following payment methods:
lc (letter of credit): confirmed, irrevocable, payable at 120 days from delivery date.
dlc (documentary letter of credit): confirmed, irrevocable, non transferable, payable at 120 days from delivery date.
traite avalisée: bill of exchange avalized by a top tier bank, payable at 120 days from delivery date.
logistics & delivery:
seller charters a vessel and loads the product.
sgs or equivalent inspection at loading port.
bl, sgs report, and commercial invoice provided to buyer.
product shipment & payment:
product is shipped to the agreed port.
buyer releases payment on the due date according to the agreed financial instrument.
seller transfers title of goods upon payment confirmation.
final documentation & closure:
all necessary documents provided for buyer s clearance.
transaction finalized.
