Payment terms for monthly shipments:
Irrevocable, Transferable, Revolving Documentary Letter of Credit (IRDLC) issued by a top prime bank, payable 100% at sight Seller's Bank, upon presentation of Shipping Documents and SGS Inspection Certificate issued at buyer's discharge port.
Performance Bond: Seller issues a performance bond based on 2%
Proof of product: Provide bank to bank
Inspection: By SGS at Seller's cost at loading port and Buyer's cost at the unloading port.
Procedures
1. Seller sends FCO to the buyer
2. Buyer confirms the FCO and issues an Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO) with full bank
3. Seller verifies the ICPO and attached documents and if accepted, Seller will issue a draft contract to the buyer for review and completing required information. Buyer is allowed to minimum amendments subject to final approval by seller.
4. Buyer reviews the contract, signs and sends to seller in word format. Seller will sign and turn it into final contract in pdf format and return a copy to buyer. Both parties lodge the contract to the Bank.
5. Buyer's bank should issue RWA to seller's bank.
6. Seller's bank releases partial POP to buyer's bank.
7. After the verification of partial POP the buyer's bank will issue a MT799 to the seller's bank as POF (proof of funds) related to the value of the liftable quantity.
8. Seller issues POP: tank receipt, SGS report, Dip test authorization
9. Buyer's bank issues MT103 23 to Seller's bank.
10. Delivery commences as per agreed schedule.
