general procedure
1 seller sends full corporate offer (fco)
2 buyer signs fco and sends his irrevocable corporate purchase order (icpo)
3 buyer’s bank sends rwa or bcl to seller’s bank
4 the seller issues draft contract to the buyer.
5 buyer signs the contract (spa) and returns to the seller who also signs the contract and sends pro forma invoice to buyer.
9 buyer and seller deposit a copy of spa to their respective banks, and seller’s bank sends pop (proof of product) to buyer’s bank
10 buyer’s bank issues block funds mt 760
11 loading begins as per the delivery schedule in the contract
12 inspection quality/quantity is done at loading port by sgs at seller’s expenses
13 inspection for weight and quality is done at loading port by alex stewart international, seamic, sgs (or equivalent) at buyer’s expense
14 seller’s bank send original shipping documents to buyer’s bank (bank to bank) by dhl
15 after receiving and checking shipping documents, buyer’s bank makes payment mt 103 within seven (7) days
16 steps (10 to 15) are repeated every month, until all deliveries are completed as per delivery schedule in contract.
